Certification Program

The Gradial Certification Program recognizes individuals who have demonstrated real, working knowledge of the Gradial platform. Certifications are role-based — each credential maps to a distinct set of responsibilities and capabilities, not just a level of seniority. All certifications are open to any Gradial user — whether you’re a customer or work for a partner organization. Practitioner is the entry point. Instructor and Administrator are parallel specializations that branch from Practitioner, designed for people in different roles within their organization.

Credentials

Gradial Certified Practitioner

The foundation credential for anyone who uses Gradial as part of their day-to-day work. Who it’s for Any Gradial user — customer or partner staff — who wants to demonstrate core platform competency. Requirements

• Complete Gradial Practitioner training (currently delivered live; self-paced option coming soon)
• Pass the Gradial Practitioner knowledge assessment
• Complete a set of hands-on tasks demonstrating core product execution within Gradial

Renewal Annual. Must complete a brief product refresher acknowledging major updates, and demonstrate active platform use within the past 12 months. Certification moves to inactive status if either lapses — reinstatement is self-serve with no waiting period.

Gradial Certified Instructor

For practitioners who have taken ownership of training their team on Gradial. Who it’s for Practitioners who have trained other team members and want to formally recognize that capability. Open to customers and partner staff. Requirements

• Hold a valid Gradial Certified Practitioner credential
• Train a minimum of 5 team members who subsequently earn Gradial Certified Practitioner status
• Pass the Gradial Instructor knowledge assessment

Renewal Annual. Linked to your Practitioner credential — if Practitioner goes inactive, Instructor status also moves to inactive. Both are reinstated together.

Gradial Certified Administrator

For those who own the technical configuration, integrations, and governance of Gradial. Who it’s for Anyone responsible for setting up, integrating, or governing Gradial within an organization. Open to customers and partner staff. Requirements

• Hold a valid Gradial Certified Practitioner credential
• Complete Gradial Administrator training covering integrations, governance, and configuration
• Pass the Gradial Administrator knowledge assessment
• Complete hands-on configuration tasks in a Gradial environment

Renewal Annual. Must complete a brief product refresher and demonstrate active platform use within the past 12 months. Linked to your Practitioner credential.

How to Get Certified

All certifications start in the same place: Gradial Certified Practitioner. Here’s what the process looks like from start to finish.

From Practitioner to Instructor or Administrator

Once you hold a valid Practitioner credential, you can pursue either (or both) of the advanced specializations. To become a Certified Instructor: Train at least 5 colleagues who go on to earn their Practitioner credential, then pass the Instructor knowledge assessment. There’s no separate application — once the requirements are met, the credential is issued. To become a Certified Administrator: Complete the Administrator training track covering integrations, governance, and configuration, pass the knowledge assessment, and complete a set of hands-on configuration tasks.

Keeping Your Certification Active

All credentials renew annually. To stay current, you’ll need to:

• Complete a brief product refresher covering major platform updates
• Demonstrate active platform use within the past 12 months

If either lapses, your certification moves to inactive status. Reinstatement is self-serve — there’s no waiting period and no need to retake full training.
